Story Line
The story of Kaguya-sama was inspired by The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter and set in the modern times. The plot is initially about the battle of wits between the Student Council's President, Miyuki Shirogane, and Vice-President, Kaguya Shinomiya - both of whom are trying to make the other confess to them, considering a confession as a loss at the war of love. Majority of the plot early on takes place in the Student Council's room and involves the shenanigans of the two protagonists plans, usually foiled by the chaos element in the person of Chika Fujiwara.
